Business Consultant - ALM/FTP

Our client, a leading Technology Consultancy organisation is seeking to recruit a Business Consultant - ALMFTP to be based in Doha, Qatar.Primary Responsibilities:Documentation - document issue of the business, or business requirement organize meetings, if required with regards to the issue or requirement Validation - validate the issue or requirement and add this to the already established documentation Investigation - investigate the issue and find solution based on the supplied information. Trouble shooting. Advisory - answer questions on functional issues and/or on the spot assistance, where requiredTechnical Skills:- Provide on-site consulting and implementation support in the area of Asset Liability Management and Sun/Gard Focus ALMFTP- Should be well versed in the details of Static ALM- Dynamic ALM and FTP methodologies - Understand term structure on profit rates and YTM curve analysis- Treasury product knowledge including but not limited to:- Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Fixed Income, Derivatives (IRS, Currency Swaps, FRAs), Options, Futures Islamic Treasury Products - understanding of Islamic Treasury products concepts Risk - understanding of Risk as applied to Treasury and Investment businesses Finance - understands Balance sheet structure, internal funds pricing and composition and impact on external pricing. Experience of Finance reporting in ALM context. Develop and document an in-depth knowledge about how the bank operates and how to calibrate and implement within the application- Analyse the bank's businesses and prepare functional and technical analyses Requirements gathering - capturing requirements from the business users Testing - Proto-typing and testing until, including participation in UAT Training skills - ability to deliver training for end users and prepare presentations for both end users and management alike Problem solving ability - ability to work in a flexible manner to conduct investigations Process skills - being able to create effective process detailing in graphical form (e.g. BPMN, UML) http://www.manpower-me.com/candidate/rec_job_details.rss.asp?p_job_sys_id=24863
